Letter to the editor – Clifton Forge Main Street Program

Dear Editor,

I wish to commend the Clifton Forge Main Street Program and all the participating businesses and organizations for the annual downtown scarecrow display. As Fall ushers out Summer I always look forward to the wonderful scarecrows that adorn our town light poles. The display adds tremendously to the festiveness and vibrancy of our downtown area. I have heard many positive comments from residents and visitors about the project. This is just another very successful effort in the revitalization of Clifton Forge. All who participate in the annual Clifton Forge Scarecrow Contest should be very proud and know that residents are very grateful for your efforts.
