Oak Hill Bible Church
Beginning Sunday, April 1, Oak Hill Bible Church in Clifton Forge will change its meeting times. Sunday school will begin at 9:15 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30 a.m. The church is located at 1601 Chestnut St.
Granbery United Methodist Church
Granbery United Methodist Church, 425 W. Main St., Covington, will present an Easter cantata on Palm Sunday, at 11 a.m. The cantata will be entitled, “Written in Red.”
Pine Street Baptist Church
Pine Street Baptist Church in Covington will observe Palm Sunday, with a special service at 3:30 p.m. The guests will be a male chorus from God’s House Baptist Church in Roanoke. Following the service, refreshments will be served.
Midway Christian Church
Midway Christian Church in Low Moor will hold a hymn sing at 6:30 p.m., featuring Donnie Liptray and the Mountaintop Gospel Singers. The church is located on Selma-Low Moor Road. Call 862-1950 for more information.
Potts Valley Singers Easter Cantata
The Potts Valley Singers will perform an Easter cantata, “Who Do You Say I Am?” Sunday, at Persinger United Methodist Chapel. The performance will begin at 7 p.m.
Selma Church of the Brethren
Selma Church of the Brethren will hold a spring revival Sunday-Tuesday at 7 p.m. each night. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Ron Neff. Music will be offered Sunday by Crimson River, on Monday by the Iron Gate Community Church Praise Band, and Tuesday by the Eade’s Mountain Boys. The event is free and no offerings will be collected.
Iron Gate Community Choir
The Iron Gate Community Choir will present an Easter Cantata, “In Christ Alone,” Tuesday at Iron Gate United Methodist Church, 7:30 p.m; and Monday, April 9, at Iron Gate Community Church, 7:30 p.m.
Temple Baptist Church
Temple Baptist Church will present a live crucifixion scene Friday and Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m. The church is located on Stratton Street in Covington, on a hill above S.J. Neathawk.

The deadline for submitting church news items to the Virginian Review is Thursday at noon.
Church News items will be published Fridays and Saturdays, beginning one week prior to the event.
Due to the number of churches in the Highlands, the newspaper does not publish separate stories and photographs related to church homecomings.
Homecomings are listed in the church box with other church news items.
Church anniversary stories are published once every five years, i.e. fifth anniversaries.
