George Michael Roberts, age 65, of Clifton Forge, Virginia went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
He was born August 4, 1954 in Richmond, Virginia and was an auto mechanic for Automotive Manufacturers Incorporated.
George was a great father, son, brother, and grandfather. He had an infectious laugh and was loved by all. He will be missed greatly.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Thompson; a brother, Scott Thompson; a sister, Sharon Thompson Irby and granddaughter, Brianna Whittman.
He is survived by his children, Sheila Roberts Ortiz and husband Ricky, Candace Roberts and George Michael Roberts, Jr; his mother, Helen W. Thompson; two brothers, Ronnie Roberts and wife Jane, Donnie Roberts and wife Kathy; six grandchildren, Ricky Ortiz, Isaiah Ortiz, Troy Ortiz, Brittney Whittman, Robert Whittman Jr, Brooklyn McCabe; and special friend, Donna Netherland
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00PM at Kingsland Baptist Church, Chester, Virginia.
