Deputy T. Harlow responded to a car accident on Paradise Found Rd.

Deputy T. Plecker assisted a citizen on Routier Hill.

Dep. Harlow conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Hot Springs.

Deputy D. Smith responded to Main St in Hot Springs for an animal warden call.

Dep. Harlow checked on a vehicle parked along the road near Windy Cove.

Dep. D. Smith and Dep. Harlow responded to Wilkinson Ave. for a dispute.

Dep. T. Plecker checked a residence on Pig Run Rd. after a 911 hang up call.

Capt. C. Smith and Dep. T. Plecker checked Warm Springs for a reckless driver in the area.

Monday, July 13, 2026

Dep. Harlow conducted a traffic stop on Sam Snead Highway near Kingtown Lane.

Dep. J. Bryan and Dep. T. Plecker responded to Tunnel Hill Rd. for goats in the roadway.

Dep. T. Plecker conducted a traffic stop near Sepp Kober Dr.

Dep. Harlow responded to a report of an injured deer on Mountain Valley Rd. in Millboro. Deer was
dispatched and removed from the roadway.

Capt. C. Smith conducted a well-being check at Lake Moomaw.

Deputy M. Colaw checked on a suspicious vehicle at the Millboro Mercantile.

Lt. R. Miller assisted VSP with traffic control at Lynchburg Camp Rd. while roadway was blocked by a tree.

Sheriff R. Plecker and Deputy C. Altizer responded to Lindsay Lane for a lost pet and reunited the dog with its owner.

Dep. T. Plecker transported a prisoner from Middle River Regional Jail to Alleghany Regional Jail.

Dep. Bryan unlocked a vehicle on Spring Mountain Rd.

Deputy T. McRoberts unlocked a vehicle at the Cascades Golf Course.

Capt. C. Smith and Dep. Harlow conducted a well- being check on a resident in Bacova.

Dep. Harlow unlocked a vehicle in Mitchelltown.

Dep. Altizer checked the area near Coffee Pot Rd. after a report of barking dogs in the area.

Dep. Harlow conducted traffic stops on Main Street in Hot Springs.

Dep. Harlow assisted Millboro Area Rescue squad at a residence on Cowpasture River Hwy.

Dep. D. Smith and VSP checked a residence on Douthat State Park Rd. for a missing person from Alleghany County.

Capt. C. Smith assisted VSP with traffic control near Bath Alum for a disabled vehicle blocking the roadway.

Capt. C. Smith assisted a driver in Mitchelltown after their vehicle broke down.

Capt. C. Smith assisted a lost motorist in Bacova.

Dep. D. Smith checked the Warm Springs area for a reported reckless driver.

Dep. D. Smith assisted a homeowner after a bat got into their house.

Dep. Bryan checked on an injured deer in Hot Springs.

Dep. D. Smith responded to Millboro and removed a deer carcass from the roadway.

Lt. R. Miller checked the Ashwood area after a racoon was reportedly acting disoriented.

Capt. C. Smith responded to Millboro to unlock a vehicle.

Lt. R. Miller assisted VSP with directing traffic on Warm Springs Mountain around a disabled vehicle

Lt. R. Miller and C. Altizer responded to a Millboro Springs business for a vehicle setting off the alarm.

Lt. R. Miller responded to Forestry Drive after a resident reported a racoon in their yard.

Saturday, July 18, 2026

Capt. C. Smith checked on an abandoned vehicle near Fassifern Farm Rd.

Bath County Sheriff’s Office emergency communications officers answered 240 incoming calls and made 131 outbound calls during this time period.
