Senior Fishing Day set for June 2 at Boys Home on Dunlap Creek

ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. — Senior citizens are invited to cast their lines at the upcoming Senior Fishing Day on Friday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Boys’ Home on Dunlap Creek. Registration for the event begins at 8:30 a.m.

The free event, organized by Alleghany County Parks and Recreation, is open to individuals aged 55 and older. Participants must bring their own fishing pole and bait. Lunch will be provided, and prizes will be awarded to lucky anglers.
