Gene W. Allard, age 76, of 1644 South Carpenter Drive, Covington, Virginia died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Reston Medical Center in Reston, Virginia.
Gene was born August 2, 1944 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Garland and Echolene Morris Allard.
He was a self-employed interior/exterior painter and also worked for Lydell and Acadia. He was a member of the First Church of The Nazarene and enjoyed hunting, golfing, and hard work.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Garland Montgomery, Jerry Allard, James Allard and Bobby Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Everett Allard of Covington; two daughters, Teresa Reynolds and Ashley Allard, both of Covington; three sisters, Doris Armentrout and husband David of Covington, Shirley Beech and husband Lane of Harrisonburg, and Rose Enyart of Moneta; a brother, Wayne Allard of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Tamara Deisher and husband “T.J.”, and Rubin Garza; four great grandchildren, Alyssa Allard, Devin Deisher, Noah Deisher, and Autumn Allard; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There will be no services at this time.
