Mrs. Judith Knick Landis, age 73, of Covington, died Sunday, September 27, 2020, at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor. She was the wife of the late Warren Handley Landis.
Mrs. Landis was born August 4, 1947 in Rockbridge County, the daughter of the late Burden Ray Knick, Sr. and Pearly Hostetter Knick.
During her working career, she was employed as a waitress and cook by the former Top Notch Restaurant, as well as working at Halmode and the former Holiday Inn. Judy enjoyed reading and loved to spend time with her family.
Mrs. Landis is survived by two daughters, Karen Landis Bishop and husband, Audie of Covington and Ginger Landis Caldwell and husband, Ricky; five grandchildren, Zachary Bishop, Heather Landis, Kayla Workman, Ethan Landis and Derrick Landis; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Mark Kevin Knick, William Mathew Knick and Bryan Keith Knick; two sisters, Ellen Knick Newcomb and husband, Bobby of Covington and Kay Collins of Roanoke; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Landis was preceded in death by a son, Paul Warren Landis; a sister, Helen Knick; and a brother, Burden Ray Knick, Jr.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Edith Snedegar officiating.
