The Bath County Public Schools held its School Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 6 p.m. at Valley Elementary School in the cafeteria.

Meeting Action

∙ Approved consent agenda including August 2, 2022 regular meeting, August 24, 2022 special meeting, claims, attendance, maintenance and transportation reports. ∙ Approved the updated Governance Norms & Protocols developed 8/1/2022. ∙ Approved the increase in adult meal prices to $2.35 for breakfast and $4.05 for lunch. ∙ Approved to continue $1500 advanced degree stipend for employees who have earned 18 credit hours in an approved master’s program.

∙ Approved joining the Small and Rural Schools Coalition.

∙ Approved the transition to govdeals.com for disposal of surplus items beginning the 2022- 2023 school year.

∙ Approved waiving the fingerprinting & central registry fee effective the first day of the second semester of the 2022-2023 school year (1/16/2023).

∙ Approved adopting the County Vehicle Usage policy EDC-R as presented. ∙ Approved joining the Comprehensive Instructional Program (CIP) consortium.
