Special Counsel John Durham filed an official report on Friday, Feb. 11, that reveals Hillary Clinton’s operatives paid an internet company to infiltrate Trump Tower and the White House.
Appointed by U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr, Durham has proceeded slowly in his investigation of what has come to be called Russiagate, but the report he filed notes that spying went on during the presidential campaign and after Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to President Donald J. Trump.
Trump’s reaction to the report that verified his claim that he had been spied upon was one of anger, and one could watch a rerun of Lesley Stahl interviewing Trump on CBS’ “60 Minutes” as she tells him face to face that there is no evidence of spying in order to understand why Trump reacted angrily when the truth finally was revealed via Durham’s report.
Many mainstream media outlets had reported the information in the Steele dossier as though the content was factual.
Trump remarked, “Durham’s report provides indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia.”
Russian analyst, Igor Danchenko, has been indicted by a grand jury for five counts of making false statements to the FBI in 2017. He was responsible for providing the bulk of the input into the so called Steele dossier paid for by the Clinton Campaign. The dossier included salacious accusations about Trump’s sex life, accusations that have been discredited.
Hillary Clinton’s Campaign has now been exposed for spying on Trump while trying to tie him to Russia.
Trump concluded, “This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate, and those who were involved in it and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution.”
Prior to Durham’s investigation, Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz discovered that an attorney with the FBI had altered an e-mail that would have prevented the FBI from getting a FISA Court approved surveillance warrant to spy on Carter Page who was working for the Trump Campaign.
Kevin Clinesmith an FBI attorney, has pled guilty in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia for making a false statement and altering an e-mail.
Horowitz also found that the FISA Court warrants were riddled with errors, some significant enough to prevent justice from being served.
Lara Trump speaking on FOX said, “Our family has been dealing with this ever since the campaign, and this should concern you whether you are a Republican or a Democrat.”
Leo Terrell, a frequent guest on FOX News, concluded, “Trump is totally vindicated by this report.”
The Steele dossier was paid for by the Hillary Clinton Campaign, and it was predicated on barroom prattle supplied by Christopher Steele, a discredited former British intelligence agent.
Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, who is the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said, “His investigation is taking a long time, but we’re getting to know what we all suspected.”
Republicans have maintained that the Democrats concocted the Russiagate scenario to discredit Trump, claiming that Trump was a Russian asset.
Jordan concluded, “The only thing we did not understand was that it was worse than what we thought.”
