Carpenter’s Battery Camp, Sons of Confederate Veterans made a donation for adding white fencing around the graves of those exhumed and moved from the Haynes Family Cemetery to Mountain View Cemetery.
The graves of eight unknown soldiers from Tenn. who died at Oakland Church that served as a hospital during the American Civil War are located inside the fencing.
Fifteen others were exhumed and moved from the Haynes Family Cemetery where Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is now located.

Others buried there are John Holloway, 1771-1853, Henry Young, 1818-1891; Fife G. Gilliland, 1857-1890, Edna Gilliland, 1885-1887; and Mary E. Zeigler, 1839-1862.
