Mr. Clinton Garfield “C.G.” Sizemore Jr., age 53, of Covington, went home to be with his Lord and Savior in Heaven, Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Sizemore was born July 11, 1968, in Clifton Forge, the son of Clinton Garfield Sizemore Sr. and the late Elizabeth Faye Bess Sizemore.
During his working career, he was employed as an electrician with New River Electrical. C.G. loved being an electrician and especially enjoyed the fact that his job allowed him to travel back and forth from Covington to Ohio where he had many wonderful friends. Mr. Sizemore was a proud member of IBEW Local 26 Electrician Union. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR and most of all, spending with his friends and family.
In addition to his father, Clinton Garfield Sizemore Sr., Mr. Sizemore is survived by his three brothers, Stuart Sizemore of Covington, Chris Sizemore and wife, Abigail of Covington and Paul Sizemore and wife, Laura of Daleville; longtime companion, Linda Greenleaf; a niece, Jordan Sizemore; and a nephew, Grayson Sizemore.
A graveside service was conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Lone Star Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Nicely officiating.
Pallbearers were Stuart Sizemore, Paul Sizemore, Chris Sizemore, Charles Lockhart, Adam Tucker and Dean Martin.
