Clifton Forge Resident Makes Donation To DSLCC 50th Anniversary Fund

Clifton Forge resident Kevin Persinger, right, has made a contribution to the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College 50th Anniversary Scholarship Fund.

Persinger says he has many fond memories of his time at the college and would not have enjoyed the successes in his life without DSLCC.

Persinger earned an Associates in Arts degree in December 1980 and a Banking Certificate in 1982.

In addition, the classroom portion of his Bachelor of Science degree from Bluefield College was completed on the DSLCC campus.

He says that he has taken many other course at the college over the last several years that have assisted him in both his career as a banker and in his personal pursuits.

“My son is now anticipating his education at DSLCC, and I have no doubt that he will enjoy the same opportunities as I because of the quality of education, dedication of the staff and relevant subject matter offered by the college,” he said.

Here Persinger presents the donation to Helen Kostel, DSLCC Educational Foundation board member.
