Bowles’ sentencing hearing will be scheduled April 11 by the Alleghany County Circuit Court. She entered guilty pleas in circuit court Feb. 2, Ed Stein, commonwealth’s attorney for Alleghany County and Covington, said.

Bowles was arrested by Covington police Feb. 4, 2010, after she was accused of shooting her husband, Kelly Gene Bowles Sr. Kelly Bowles was pronounced dead at the scene of his 810 N. Pocahontas Ave. residence on the morning of Feb. 4.

Police had responded to the residence after receiving a report that a person had been shot.
