One of the featured events Saturday during the Forest Expo held at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College was a mock disaster where a person had been trapped under a brush hog on a tractor.

The victim was extracted from under the piece of machinery by the Clifton Forge Rescue Squad and Selma Fire Department, top photo, while the photo on bottom shows the Lifeguard 10 helicopter landing to take the victim to the hospital.

The mock disaster was sponsored by the Virginia Farm Bureau. (Buck Rumpf Photos)
