Earl Julian “Buzz” Wiseman, 90, of 2522 Bath St., died Saturday, August 31, 2013.
He was born September 14, 1922 at Jennings Gap, a son of Emory Earl and Marjorie Bell Terry Wiseman.  

He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.  Prior to retirement, he was employed by American Safety Razor for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by a step son, Tony Lee Smith.  

Surviving are his wife, Anna Lee Lickfold Smith Wiseman; a daughter, Donna W. Talbert of Eagle Rock; a son, Jeffrey Earl Wiseman of Steeles Tavern; three step daughters, Debbie Gray of Churchville, and Susan Cobb and Sharon Meeks, both of Staunton; a brother, Emory Wiseman of Staunton; two sisters, Alma Toman and Ann Taliaferro, both of Waynesboro; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special friends, Gary Argenbright, Micah and Janet Huff, Raymond Logwood, Tom Weller, and W. E. Taliaferro.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday in Bear Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Dan Darrikhuma.  

Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memory Gardens.  

Active pallbearers will be Steve and Mike Wiseman, Bill Linen, Charles Coker, Gary Argenbright and Micah Huff.  

Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
