Covington’s Sa’Mone Moore is this week’s Virginian Review and The Shoe Box and Sports Center Player of the Week after being named the Pioneer District Girls Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.
Moore has scored 472 points through 25 games this season, averaging 18.9 points per game. She has also hauled in 200 rebounds (8.0 rpg). Sa’Mone has also dished out 74 assists, recorded 67 steals and blocked 26 shots.
Moore and all Player of the Week winners can go by Sports Center to pick up their t-shirt.
