WARM SPRINGS – These calls for service were made to the Bath County Sheriff’s Off-ice the week of Feb. 13-18:
Feb. 13: Deputy Armstrong transported a subject from Alleghany Regional Jail to Bath County courts.
Feb. 13: Dep. Chestnut fingerprinted a subject for Bath County Public Schools.
Feb. 13: Sheriff Plecker and Sgt. Cutlip transported a subject from Bath County courts back to Alleghany Regional Jail.
Feb. 13: Dep. Chestnut assisted Virginia State Police on a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Road.
Feb. 13: Sgt. Cutlip responded to a citizens residence to conduct an investigation.
Feb. 14: Captain Weaver, Dep. Chestnut and a Virginia state trooper responded to an address on Lower Yard Road in Millboro to assist Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office in serving arrest warrants on a subject.
Feb. 14: Captain Weaver spoke to a subject in reference to stolen property.
Feb. 14: Captain Weaver responded to a report of an unsecured door at an unoccupied residence on Mountain Valley Road in Warm Springs. He checked and secured the residence.
Feb. 14: Dep. Chestnut unlocked a vehicle on Park Drive.
Feb. 14: Captain Weaver responded to an address on Lower Yard Road in Millboro to assist Rockbridge in apprehending a subject.
Feb. 14: Dep. Chestnut checked on a female subject walking alone along Sam Snead Highway in the Ashwood area.
Feb. 14: Dep. Chestnut assisted Virginia State Police on a traffic stop in the Hot Springs area.
Feb. 14: Major Bryan responded to a report of damage to a vehicle on Springs Street in the Healing Springs area.
Feb. 14: Major Bryan responded to a report of stolen property from a vehicle at Bath County High School.
Feb. 15: Dep. Smith responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Muddy Run Road.
Feb. 15: Sheriff Plecker, Major Bryan, Captain Weaver and Dep. Chestnut stopped traffic, and led a funeral procession from McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home to Pinehurst Heights Cemetery.
Feb. 15: Lt. Dunnagan spoke with a subject who was very upset and needed to speak with an officer about a disagreement within the household.
Feb. 15: Lt. Dunnagan reported livestock in the roadway on Indian Draft Road causing a traffic hazard. The owner was contacted.
Feb. 15: Lt. Dunnagan served an arrest warrant on a subject and took them before the magistrate.
Feb. 16: Captain Weaver and Virginia State Police stopped traffic and led a funeral procession from Healing Springs Baptist Church to the Warm Springs Cemetery.
Feb. 16: Lt. Dunnagan fingerprinted a subject for an FBI background check and job application.
Feb. 16: Captain Weaver fingerprinted a subject for a concealed handgun permit application.
Feb. 16: Sheriff Plecker responded to a report from a citizen that there has been tampering with their mailbox on Klondike Drive.
Feb. 16: Dep. Smith responded to a report of suspicious activity at an unoccupied residence on Jackson River Turnpike. He checked the area to make sure the building was secure.
Feb. 17: Lt. Dunnagan spoke to a subject who needed to speak to an officer in reference to a rental property they owned.
Feb. 17: Sheriff Plecker responded to Bath Community Hospital to serve an emergency custody order on a subject.
Feb. 17: Sheriff Plecker, and Captain Weaver responded to Bath Community Hospital to serve a temporary detention order on a subject who they transported to Poplar Springs Behavioral Health Center in Petersburg.
Feb. 17: Sgt. Cutlip responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Deerfield Road.
Feb. 18: Lt. Dunnagan unlocked a vehicle at Calvary Baptist Church in Millboro.
