Harry Robert “Bobby” Topping II, age 68, of 800 W. Ridgeway Street, Apt 415, Scott Hill, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany, Low Moor.
He was born June 9, 1947 in Clifton Forge to the late Harry Earnest and Evelyn Mason Topping. 

He was a retired banker for First Virginia Bank, and a member of Central United Methodist Church.  He loved golf and was a member of Cliftondale Country Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Byer Topping.
He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Fuller and husband Andrew of Roanoke; a sister, Sue Ellen Topping of Hot Springs; three grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Phillips, Matthew Thomas Fuller and Ryan Andrew Fuller; Special cousins, Emily and Floyd Honts, Mark and Cathy Ford, and Terry and Ray Wilmer; his best friend and golf partner, Ernie Williams, Jr. and wife Loree of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Mausoleum of Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor with Pastor Steve Noel officiating. 

Entombment will immediately follow. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Clifton Forge Rescue Squad, PO Box 419, Clifton Forge, VA  24422.
