The Shadow
ROANOKE, Va. (VR) — Four more dogs rescued as part of the Iron Gate 16 are now available for adoption through Angels of Assisi.
The four female Shih Tzus, previously identified as numbers 4, 6, 13 and 14, have been given names: York, Ginger Gold, Fuji and Pink Lady. After spending much of their lives in poor living conditions, the dogs are now ready for permanent homes.
The four range in age from 2 to 12 years old, each with a different personality. Pink Lady, the oldest of the group, has been described as the most spirited.
All four have received veterinary care, been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and are current on preventative treatments. Adoption fees are $150 per dog, with adoptions handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those interested in adopting can visit the Angels of Assisi Adoption Center to meet the dogs. Current availability can be found on the organization’s website at angelsofassisi.org/dogs.
The organization advises that dogs no longer listed on its website have been adopted.
