COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – There was plenty to celebrate Thursday afternoon as Alleghany Highlands Community Services held its annual employee meeting, highlighted by the presentation of American Red Cross Lifesaving Awards to four employees.
Jessica Pullin, Morgan Mohler, Brandon Grobes and former employee Jessica Hensley were recognized for their actions during a medical emergency involving a patient in cardiac distress.
The employees responded without hesitation and worked together to help save the patient’s life. Bill Brent, representing the American Red Cross, presented the lifesaving awards during the meeting. The recognition highlighted the quick response and dedication of the employees when faced with an emergency.
