BLACKSBURG, Va. (VR) – Kristen Skiera and the Virginia Tech lacrosse program announced the hiring of Emily Bejeck as director of lacrosse operations Wednesday morning.
She comes to Blacksburg after most recently working with the University of Maryland football team as a recruiting and operations intern. With the football program she helped coordinate operational workflows, managed itineraries and maintained recruiting data. On game days, she was the visiting athletic director liaison, assisting them with logistics.
Bejeck also spent time with the Maryland men’s lacrosse program in 2026 as an operations intern assisting the director of operations to support game day execution, donor engagement, equipment management and team meals. She has experience working with the External Relations units in a large athletic department like development, marketing and media relations who she worked with to execute events.
She also has experience working as a sales intern for the Washington Commanders, which she did for a short time during her undergraduate experience at the University of Maryland.
