ATLANTA, Ga. (VR) – Smurfit Westrock, which operates a facility in Covington, has been recognized on TIME’s 2026 World’s Best Companies list.
The company moved up 15 spots from last year to No. 190 overall and ranked No. 12 in the engineering, manufacturing and medical technology category.
TIME and Statista based the list on three areas: employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability transparency.
Smurfit Westrock’s sustainability efforts over the past year included launching its Better Planet Targets and issuing more than $1.3 billion in green bonds.The company was also named to the Forbes Global 2000 list earlier this year.
