Debra Lee “Debbie” Bland, 66, of 314 Rogers Road, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at LewisGale Alleghany in Low Moor.
She was born December 2, 1951 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Gordon and Louise Tucker Bland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Bland and a brother-in-law, Richard “Mike” Mundy.
Debbie was formerly a shift manager at McDonald’s Restaurant in Covington. She was a member of First Christian Church She loved her fur babies as well as reading and crocheting.
Surviving are her sister, Susie Mundy of Covington; her nephew Mike Mundy and his wife Melisha of Covington; her niece Jennifer Mundy and Rocky Neff of Covington; great nieces and nephews, Brianna Mundy, Olivia Mundy, Autumn Mundy, Hailey Gibson, Michael Mundy, McKenzie Mundy, Cheyenne Mundy and Justin Taylor and Logan Mundy, all of Covington and one great great niece,Ryleigh Taylor of Covington.
The funeral service will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the graveside in Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.
The family will receive their friends Monday from 12:45 PM until 1:45 Pm at the Arritt Funeral Home.
