ALDERSON- A&S Services, named after a husband and wife, is a family-owned business located at 244 E Chestnut Avenue in Alderson and provides agricultural equipment sales, equipment repair, and mobile tire repair for customers in the area.
The business offers products from Cowco, Lakeland, Apache and other brands, as well as Vitalix mineral tubs. In addition to sales, A&S Services repairs equipment and provides fully mobile tire service, bringing the repair work directly to customers.
“Everything’s 100% mobile,” owner Aaron Dixon said.
“We can come to you.”
Dixon said he carries patches and other supplies in his service truck to handle tire repairs on-site. He said tire work is among the most common needs he sees, along with tractor clutch jobs, hydraulic issues, and other equipment repairs.
“A lot of tire work, a good bit of tire work,” Dixon said.
“Clutch jobs and tractors, a lot of hydraulic issues, equipment and stuff like that.”
Customer satisfaction is a major priority for the family business, Dixon said.
“Customer service is 100% top of my priorities,” he said.
“I try to do everything I can to make sure my customers are satisfied and get the job done.”
For Dixon, operating a family business also offers the opportunity to spend time with the people closest to him.
“My daughter, she’ll come with me to work,” he said. “Just spending time with your family and working together–all that.”
A&S Services stands behind the products it sells and delivers products to customers, Dixon said. The business combines equipment sales with repair services designed to help customers keep their farms, vehicles and equipment working.
Dixon hopes to get set up at the fair if he gets his ducks in a row before the deadline. If he is able to do that, stop by and chat and find your new agricultural repair business for life.
