HARRISONBURG. VA (VR) – From left, Covington Middle School counselor Evelyn Steege and students Penelope Thompson, Gwen Halterman, Kinsley Jefferson, Graham Kenny, and Robbie Leigh participated in the first GEAR UP Longwood Student Leadership Camp at James Madison University. The CMS students spent three days at the camp taking part in leadership activities, team challenges, and college campus exploration. They worked with peers from across the region to build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
