COVINGTON, VA (VR) – A special community event is being planned to support John Selleck as he faces ongoing health complications related to diabetes. The “Cruise In to Benefit John Selleck” will take place on May 31 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Jackson River Sports Complex.
The event will bring together car enthusiasts, local families, and supporters for an afternoon of classic cars, music, and fundraising activities.
Organizers say the purpose of the event is to help offset some of John Selleck’s medical and personal expenses as he continues dealing with complications from diabetes. Community members are encouraged to attend, show support, and enjoy the activities planned throughout the day.
In addition to the car showcase, the event will include:
- Live music
- A 50/50 raffle
- A Chinese auction
- Live auction
- Food and fellowship with community supporters
The fundraiser is being supported by KARS Unlimited.
Residents from across the area are invited to attend and support a member of the community during a difficult time.
