COVINGTON, VA (VR) — Olde Town Covington, Inc. is pleased to welcome Peyton Colvin as a summer intern for 2026. During the internship, she will assist with downtown revitalization initiatives, community outreach, marketing efforts, event support, and projects to promote and enhance Olde Town Covington.

A junior at Guilford College, Peyton is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Marketing. She is also a member of the
women’s lacrosse team, serves on the student body executive board marketing committee, and maintains a 3.8 GPA.

Peyton brings valuable experience in communications, event planning, customer service, athletics marketing, and public engagement. Currently
serving as an Athletic Communications Intern at Guilford College, she assists with gameday operations, social media graphics, statistics management, and athletics communications. Additional experience includes positions at The Greenbrier and Altar’d State, as well as leadership roles in campus
organizations and athletics.

“We are excited to welcome Peyton Colvin to Olde Town Covington, Inc this summer,” said Terri McClung, President of Olde Town Covington, Inc. “This
internship reflects our commitment to investing in future leaders while continuing the momentum of revitalization and community engagement throughout downtown Covington.”

Peyton shared excitement about the opportunity to work with the organization and gain hands-on experience in community development, marketing, and event coordination while contributing to the continued growth of Olde Town Covington, Inc.
