COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The Covington Middle School softball team closed out its season Thursday with an 8-5 loss to Shawsville despite a big day at the plate from Miyah Howard.
Howard finished 3-for-3 with a home run and two doubles to lead the Covington offense. Kelsey Broughman added two singles in a 2-for-3 performance, while Aubrey McCallister went 2-for-3 with a double and a single.
