CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – The Clifton Forge Volunteer Fire Department in cooperation with Municipal Marketing Services will be conducting our annual fund drive during the month of May. This year we will be conducting our fund drive by direct mailing to the residents in our coverage area, there will be no door-to-door activities as was done in the past.

Richard Bates, Secretary-Treasurer of the Fire Department stated, “many of our neighboring departments have gone to the direct mailing route as a more efficient way to reach residents of our coverage area. The fire department members want to assure the public that the donations they make will go directly to the fire department. The members appreciate the support the public has provided the members in the past and will continue to provide the best possible service to the members of our community.”
