COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The Boys Home of Virginia opened its doors to the public Saturday, giving the community a firsthand look at its campus and mission.

The open house featured a wide range of activities, including inflatables, face painting, and free food, drawing families and visitors throughout the day. Staff members and residents were on hand to answer questions and provide insight into daily life and the programs offered.

For many in the area, the event served as an introduction. Despite its long-standing presence, some local residents are still unaware of the organization and the role it plays in supporting young men. The open house provided an opportunity to close that gap, inviting the public to visit, learn, and connect with a resource that continues to impact lives in the region.
