COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Alleghany broke through for its first win of the season Thursday night, rolling past Buffalo Gap 7-0 behind a balanced scoring attack.

Junior Gracie Stull set the tone early with the opening goal, and the Cougars never let up. Junior Jordyn Bradshaw added to the lead, while sophomores Addy Smith and Kyndle Paxton each found the net. Senior Taylor Stayton capped the scoring as Alleghany controlled possession and kept pressure on throughout.
