March 15, 2026 Major J. Grimm, Deputies T. Plecker and J. Bryan responded to a motor vehicle accident on Mountain Valley Rd in Millboro.

March 16, 2026 Deputies D. Smith and T. Harlow responded to a residence on Cabin Draft Rd. for a prowler.

March 17, 2026 Deputies D. Smith and T. Harlow responded for a motor vehicle accident near Jordan Top Rd.

March 17, 2026 Major Grimm assisted Millboro Area Rescue Squad on a call on Tunnel Hill Rd.

March 17, 2026 Deputy T. O’Conner reported rocks in the roadway on Deerfield Rd.

March 17, 2026 Deputies T. Plecker, T. O’Conner responded with VSP to Ashwood area for a report of a man in the roadway.

March 17, 2026 Deputy T. O’Conner checked on an abandoned vehicle on Sam Snead Hwy. near the county line.

March 17, 2026 Deputy D. Smith transported a stray dog from a residence on Cowpasture River Rd. to the Bath County Animal Shelter.

March 19, 2026 Deputy M. Colaw performed a traffic stop on Incubator Hollow Rd.

March 19, 2026 Lt. C. Smith arrested Henry Shifflett Jr. of Millboro on a capias for failing to appear for court. Arrestee was transported to Alleghany Regional Jail.

March 19, 2026 Sheriff R. Plecker responded to Mitchelltown for a report of a gas drive off.

March 19, 2026 Lt. J. Grimm responded to Jackson River Tpke for a report of debris in the roadway.

March 19, 2026 Lt. C Smith and Deputy M. Colaw assisted with traffic control in Mitchelltown.

March 20, 2026 Deputy T. Plecker followed up on a report of debris along the roadway on Jackson River Tpke.

March 20, 2026 Deputy J. Rexrode responded to a business in Ashwood for a report of a hit and run with damage to the building.

March 20, 2026 Deputy D. Smith responded to a residence in Millboro for a stray dog. Stray dog was taken to the Bath County Animal Shelter.

March 20, 2026 Deputy C. Altizer followed up on a report of a reckless driver on Douthat State Park Rd.

March 21, 2026 Deputy C. Altizer responded to Hot Springs for a report of a person needing assistance on Main St. Altizer transported a female to Bath Community Hospital.

March 21, 2026 Deputy T. Plecker responded to a business on Main St. in Hot Springs to assist with a disorderly person causing a disturbance.

March 21, 2026 Deputy C. Altizer arrested Jonathan Gwin on two Highland County charges, interfere with property rights of another and destruction of property.

March 21, 2026 Deputy T. Plecker unlocked a vehicle for a citizen on River Rd.

Bath County Sheriff’s Office emergency communications officers answered 233 incoming calls
