AHPS Announces Two-Hour Delay for Monday, March 2

LOW MOOR, Va. (VR – Due to the predicted weather forecast calling for a wintry mix and snow, Alleghany Highlands Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, March 2.

School officials will continue to monitor weather and road conditions throughout the evening and early morning hours. Should conditions worsen or create safety concerns, a full closure may be warranted.

Families, students, and staff are encouraged to stay tuned to the division’s official communication channels for the latest updates.

The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
