COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Jackson River Technical Center held its annual open house Friday afternoon, welcoming parents and community members to learn more about its career and technical education programs. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to tour the facility, meet instructors and get a firsthand look at the hands-on training offered at the center.
Programs available at Jackson River Technical Center include welding, automotive technology, nursing, marketing, electricity, carpentry, culinary arts, early childhood education, drawing and design, and building management.
