Alleghany Cruisers Bring Back the 7th Annual Back the Blue Scholarship Car Show

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany Cruisers are excited to announce the return of one of the regions most anticipated car shows. The 7th Annual Back the Blue Scholarship Car Show returns on June 27, 2026. This event will be held from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the beautiful Jackson River Sports Complex in Covington VA. Registration opens at 8:00 am and registration is only $10.00. All proceeds from this event support the Back the Blue Scholarship which is awarded to area high school students furthering their education in the criminal justice or related field. The Jackson River Sports Complex is located at 870 W. Edgemont Drive in Covington VA.
 
– Open to vehicles of all types
– Dash plaques for first 100 entries
– Goodie Bags
– Lots of door prizes
– HUGE Raffle
– 50/50
– Food and merchandise vendors
– LEO Pick awards, three from each department
– Live D.J.
– Many activities for the kids
– Law Enforcement displays and demonstrations
– Much, much, more
 
In addition the Jackson River Sports Complex features ample room for canopies, a shaded walking trail, covered picnic shelter, permanent restrooms, kids playground, and a mini golf course on site.
