ALLEGHANY HIGHLANDS, Va. (VR) – Alleghany Highlands Public Schools celebrated custodians, maintenance workers, and other support personnel with an appreciation breakfast on Jan. 30. These team members braved freezing temperatures in recent days, regularly checking buildings and clearing snow and ice to ensure schools are safe when students and staff return. Their efforts also allowed AHPS to distribute food packets to families at distribution sites. (AHPS Photo)
