LEWISBURG W.Va. (VR) — The Lewisburg Winter Music Festival (LWMF), a signature winter event produced by the Southern Appalachia Musicians’ Association (SAMA), returns for its highly-anticipated two-day celebration of live music on January 30–31, 2026, across downtown Lewisburg.

The festival brings together more than 70 music acts performing across 9 downtown venues, offering audiences an unforgettable variety of genres and regional talent. Performances will take place nightly beginning at 6:00 PM through approximately midnight, with late-night features at select locations.

“Musicians Helping Musicians”

Organized by SAMA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to assisting musicians facing crisis and fostering music education, the festival is more than entertainment; it’s a mission-driven gathering rooted in community and support. All performing artists donate their time and talent so ticket revenue can be directed toward SAMA’s outreach, grants, and educational programs. SAMA is an all-volunteer, musician-led nonprofit focused on providing crisis support and educational funding to musicians throughout Southern Appalachia.

Affordable Music for All

Weekend passes are priced at $30, with single-day tickets available for $20, making the festival an accessible way for music fans to explore multiple acts in downtown Lewisburg’s vibrant venues. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at participating venues during the festival.

Downtown Experiences and Community Energy

With venues all within a short walk of each other, attendees can easily explore many different performances in a single evening. Participating venues include The Asylum, Washington Street Pub, Wild Bean, Lewis Theatre, Briergarten, The Sweet Shoppe, Hill and Holler, Old Red Mill Taphouse, and the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center.
