NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
ALLEGHANY COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
Alleghany County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on December 10, 2025, to present the draft of the updated Alleghany County Comprehensive Plan to the public and to acquire input on the same. The Comprehensive Plan is a planning tool that is general in nature and is used to express the goals for future development of the County. The Plan provides a guide for the physical development of the County with coordination and harmony by looking at the present and future needs of the community. The Code of Virginia requires review and update of the Comprehensive Plan every five years.
