Parry McCluer’s Patterson Wins Pioneer Singles Title

BUENA VISTA — Parry McCluer’s Maggie Patterson captured the Pioneer District singles tennis championship Thursday at Southern Virginia University.
Patterson defeated McKinna Huffman of Narrows, 6-0, 6-0.
Huffman advanced to the championship match with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Bath County’s Joley McLain.
