FAIRLEA W.Va. (VR) – The festive atmosphere of the holidays will be a little dimmer at the fairgrounds this year, as the annual Christmas at the Fair drive-through lights experience has been canceled. The Virginian Review confirmed the halt of the popular seasonal event with Kelly Collins, the Chief Executive Officer of the State Fair of West Virginia. Collins said the canellation is “Due to building and infrastructure maintenance projects, and upcoming construction.” There is no news yet as to whether the community can expect a return of the popular event next year.
