Dear Editor,
My family and I?were in town from South Carolina visiting extended family in Covington over our children’s spring break in April.
The starter on my sister’s car went out and we were unsure where to turn for help. We were overwhelmed by the kindness shown to us by the wonderful residents of Covington.
We would like to thank Rex at Edgemont Service Station by steering us in the right direction and sharing kind memories of our deceased grandfather, Roy Phillips, and our deceased uncle, Bill Phillips.
Rex expertly directed us to Dave’s Auto Repair. Dave and his daughter provided excellent care and service to us. Shadtree Towing was also extra helpful in getting my sister’s car to Dave’s shop, and he too, shared fond memories of our loved ones. The service man at NAPA Auto Parts was very thoughtful and made things easy for us, as well.
As three women and three children traveling out of state and finding ourselves in dire straits, we can’t say enough about our wonderful experiences with these caring Covington citizens.
Thank you all so much for making a difficult situation much more pleasant with your expert care and friendly services. You all are the best!
