WINCHESTER, Va. (VR) – On August 15, 2025, 52 candidates from Shenandoah University earned their Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Among them was Saige Hadley Silva of Covington, Virginia. Saige is a graduate of Alleghany High School’s class of 2017. She attended James Madison University from 2017-2021 and earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Silva attended Shenandoah University’s doctorate of physical therapy program from 2022 to 2025. She received recognition for professional writing and communication in her studies. Miss Silva is pursuing a position as a physical therapist in the in-patient rehabilitation setting.
Saige is the daughter of Shannon and Eric Fogus of Covington, Virginia and Kenton and Julia Silva of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is the granddaughter of Patricia and Bill Rose of Covington, Virginia; the granddaughter of Sara and Henry Fogus of White Sulphur Springs, WV; and the granddaughter of Kenton Silva of Williamsburg, Virginia.
