COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – After a summer break, the Alleghany Highlands Chorale will resume rehearsals on Monday, September 8, at First Presbyterian Church at 6:30 pm. The directors, Sandra Minter, Allan Tucker, and Anne Scruggs, have extensively planned for the holiday concert, scheduled for Sunday, December 7, at 3:00 pm.
The group meets every Monday evening for music and camaraderie. They present two concerts per year, one in December and another in the spring. Cathy Drummer accompanies the group, which operates as a subsidiary of the Alleghany Highlands Arts Council. New members are welcome, and no audition is necessary.
