Geraldine Howell

Geraldine Howell, age 78, of Selma, Virginia passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Alleghany Health and Rehab Center, Clifton Forge.

She was born April 7, 1947 in Kentucky to the late Frank Howell and Alizie May Burggess Howell. She worked at Elizabeth Arden retail.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Burton; two brothers, Rusty and Frank Howell; two sisters, Virgie and Josie Howell.

She is survived by a daughter, Crystal Wright (Anthony) of Selma; a son, Rodney Mullins (Amy) of Clifton Forge; three sisters, Ocie Willis of Roanoke, Maudeane Howell of Covington, Ruth Alvarez of Roanoke; two brothers, Freel Howell of Richlands, David Lee Howell of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Tony Wright (Wynter), Sierra Paxton (Bradley), Cameron Wright, Ashlee Mullins, Miki Mullins, Nikki Updike (Cody), Terrence Burton; four great grandchildren; a step daughter, Michelle Broughman; a step son, Chris Broughman; a sister in law, Sally Broughman (Raymond); and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. No formal services are scheduled.
