COLUMBUS, Ohio – A trio of highly productive team leaders will represent the 2025 Ohio State Buckeyes at Big Ten Football Media Days next month, the conference office announced. WR Jeremiah Smith, LB Sonny Styles and SAF Caleb Downs – along with head coach Ryan Day – will be among those slated to attend the event, which is set for July 22-24 in Las Vegas. The Buckeyes will meet the media on the first day: Tuesday, July 22. Like last year, the event will feature a three-day format, with six of the conference’s 18 schools represented by their head football coach and a trio of student-athletes each day.

July 22: Ohio State, Rutgers, Nebraska, Maryland, Indiana and Illinois
July 23: Minnesota, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State, Washington and Wisconsin
July 24: Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, UCLA and USC

Big Ten Network Coverage
Big Ten Network will broadcast six consecutive hours of live coverage every day, beginning at 10 a.m. PT/12 p.m. CT/1 p.m. ET. Dave Revsine, Ashley Adamson, Rick Pizzo, Jake Butt, Yogi Roth, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and others will be on-site carrying the day’s press conferences and interviewing all 72 attendees on the BTN set during afternoons.

More on Jeremiah, Sonny and Caleb
Each of the Buckeyes’ player representatives garnered All-Big Ten honors in 2024 and will be among the top players in America this season.

Downs, a unanimous first team All-American last season, was the Tatum–Woodson Defensive Back of the Year and a finalist for the Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back. Smith, who set Ohio State freshman records for receptions (76), receiving yards (1,315) and touchdowns (15), was the Big Ten’s Thompson–Randle El Freshman of the Year and Richter–Howard Receiver of the Year. He was also a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award.

Styles, a fourth-year senior, is Ohio State’s leading returning tackler, a second team All-Big Ten honoree and will be a candidate for the Butkus Award in 2025 as the nation’s top linebacker
