LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – The Shenandoah District has officially released the 2025 Varsity football schedule, setting the stage for an exciting fall under the Friday night lights. With practices set to begin soon and anticipation building, teams across the region are preparing for what promises to be a competitive season. This year marks the debut of the Alleghany Cougars in the Shenandoah District following the recent merger, bringing a new era of football to the area. Stay tuned for more coverage as teams hit the field and the countdown to kickoff continues.

 

August 29th: Open

September 5th: Alleghany Host Brookville 

September 12th: Bye week Alleghany travels to Greenbrier East (Kick Off 7:00)

September 19th: Alleghany Host Staunton (Kick Off 7:00)

September 26th: Alleghany Travels to Waynesboro (Kick Off 7:00)

October 3rd: Alleghany Host Stuarts Draft (Kick Off 7:00)

October 10th: Alleghany Travels Buffalo Gap (Kick Off 7:00)

October 17th: Alleghany Host Wilson Memorial (Kick Off 7:00)

October 24th: Alleghany Travels to Riverheads (Kick Off 7:00)

October 31st: Alleghany Host Fort Defiance (Kick Off 7:00)

November 7th: Alleghany Travels to Rockbridge (Kick Off 7:00)

*All home games will be played at Casey Field.
