BLACKSBURG – The Effect games for the 2025 Virginia Tech football season have been unveiled, highlighting three opportunities for fans to paint Lane Stadium maroon, orange, and white as the Hokies take the field for marquee matchups filled with tradition, pride, and unforgettable energy.

Hokie Effect is a program through the Undergraduate Student Senate (USS) that designs and sells spirit shirts for multiple sporting events at Virginia Tech. The Hokie Effect games encourage fans to wear a certain color in order to show school spirit and create a blanketed color effect throughout the venue. The best way to participate is by wearing the official Hokie Effect T-shirt designed specifically for each game. Official Effect merchandise will be available for purchase in August.

 Home Opener – MAROON EFFECT
Saturday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET vs. Vanderbilt

Salute to Service Day – WHITE EFFECT
Saturday, Sept. 20 vs. Wofford

 Homecoming – ORANGE EFFECT
Saturday, Oct. 4 vs. Wake Forest

Earlier in May, select theme days and group offers were announced, allowing fans to mark their calendars for special celebrations, events, and group outings at Lane Stadium. Interested in bringing your group to a game this season? A limited number of group tickets remain for select games. Click here to learn more about the various options. Ready to buy? Speak to a group sales rep today by calling 1 (800) VA-TECH4.

Fans looking to lock in their spot for all seven home games with access to the best locations and the best pricing are encouraged to purchase season tickets starting at $350. Alternatively, single-game tickets can be purchased on a game-by-game basis. Act fast to guarantee your spot in Lane Stadium for all the action this season.
