Billy Marshall Simms

Billy Marshall Simms died unexpectedly at his home in Iron Gate Va. Saturday June 14, 2025, at the age of 76.

He is survived by his children: Billy, Kimmy, Chris, Rob, April, Felicia, Phillip, Paige, Roy, Brittany, and Austin. By his siblings: Doug, Roy, Mickey, Pam, and Mary.  And by his many grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Lucille Jones, his brother Phillip, and his sister Haily.

Bill was born in Hazard Ky on June 14, 1949.  After finishing high school, he enlisted in the Army.  He then went on to drive big rig trucks and do factory work.  Since retiring, Bill has enjoyed building models of classic automobiles and spending time outdoors.

A memorial service has been planned for Sunday June 22, 2025, at 3:00pm at the Iron Gate Community Church officiated by Pastor Edith Snedager.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate his memory.  The family asks in lieu of flowers to please make donations to his caregiver and niece Krista Conner of Iron Gate.  The family would also like to thank everyone for all the prayers and support they have received in their time of need.
