City of Covington offices to be closed in observance of Juneteenth

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – City of Covington offices will be closed Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of Juneteenth.

Refuse collection for Thursday, June 19, 2025, will be collected on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Peter’s Mountain Landfill and State Offices (Commissioner of Revenue, Treasurer, and Registrar) will also be closed.

All offices will reopen on Friday, June 20, 2025.
