CLIFTON FORGE, Va (VR) – Mountain Gateway Community College invites the public to participate in a regional conversation about the future of workforce development in southwest Virginia.
The Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Industrial Skilled Trades Work Group will meet on Wednesday, June 11, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Moomaw Center on MGCC’s Clifton Forge campus, located at 1000 College Drive, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
Hosted by GOVA Region 2 staff in partnership with Mountain Gateway Community College, this event is part of the planning process for the 2025 GO Virginia Growth & Diversification Plan.
The session will focus on identifying regional needs, opportunities, and priorities in manufacturing, healthcare, and skilled trades.
This event is free and open to the public. Anyone with an interest in workforce development—including employers, educators, students, parents, and residents—is encouraged to attend and share their ideas.
